Depression
Some of the most common symptoms of depression are moodiness, painful thinking, and anxiety. |
Sadness or anger?
Most people think of depression as long-term, deep sadness, but depression has more to do with unresolved anger than with sadness. Depression not only affects the mind and emotions, but has a powerful and destructive effect upon the entire physical body.
More common than you might think.
Depression is the number one mental health problem in America. It can strike at any age, but is most common to people in their forties and fifties. Depression occurs two times more often in women than in men and is three times more prevalent in higher socioeconomic classes than in lower classes.
